There is a very fine line between a hobby and a mental illness.

Does the need justify the want ? Or does the want suffice?

I frequent an RV forum and that debate gets kicked around every 6 months or so. They get heated and no one ever wins.  Bslap  I use ST and keep them inflated and try not to drive over 65.

If I cant travel at highway speeds when traffic allows it because the tires are limiting factor its time for new tires. 16" is definitely the way to go, all of our trailers have 16" and I would never go back to anything else. Also, no chicom tires never ever never  flameon

The 12,000 lb bumper hitch has a set of trade in coopers

The 20,000 lb Gooseneck has 8ea new firestone ht's on it.

I will say though most of the pooped trailer tires you see on the side of the road are most likely a result of overloading, neglect, or a tire that is old enough to vote.

I am limited in choices to a 14 inch tire on my Camper because of clearance issues. Most all 14” are Chicprap maypops. I limit my speed to give my F 150 a break and save a little fuel also. It’s amazing the difference 5 miles per hour makes at those speeds.
