Help Me Please - Free Stuff (at least some of it)
« on: June 05, 2017, 10:06:37 AM »
About 10 yrs ago my FIL passed and it was left to me to clean out his shop. Half way through the process, my MIL and wife, had me stop. Basically until now, now the MIL is moving (selling the house) and the stuff can't disappear fast enough. Here are a few items that need to go to a good home

1 - a Industro/Duro socket set with 2 of the hex drive ratchets

2 - a pristine (except for the case) Shelton Socket tool

3  - a Craftsman 1/4 hp block bench grinder (missing a few parts), runs smooth. Extremely heavy, shipping would be a bitch, so pick up only

4 - not part of the FIL's stock, but 2 more sets of the Kobalt spline sockets

The socket set, sockets and the Shelton are Free, I'll ship them to you, for free, but the Craftsman grinder is going for $50.

I'm interested in one of the spline sets.

Guys - Those who are waiting

Again the GNAP has been lax, the FIL's shop clean out is directly related to get the MIL into an assisted living facility. Obviously this is a major undertaking, the wife is being a major bitch, wound tight like a coil spring, I've been keeping my head down, trying to avoid any eye contact. So, I've been somewhat busy.

But fear not the packages left the GNAP shop facility and were delivered to the USPS, they all went out in flat rate boxes, hopefully they will be to you by Thursday.

Again, please accept the GNAP's humble apology, I'm sorry I let this slide, but hopefully they will be all you wanted.

I do not envy the personal hell that you are slogging through right now Jack. Forging ahead as you are gets my greatest respect and admiration for doing the job in spite of the punishing circumstances.
You boys better hold on cause i'm gonna have to stand on it!

Wives do get wound up.   FIL was moving in with his other daughter, put the house up for sale.   Sold in 4 days!   Til the end of the month, we had just about two weeks to get 54 years of living moved out of the house.  They didn't have much but why did I have to bring 4 pickup loads home?

I've got a 1958 made example of that same grinder, and while it's totally brown and only has one shelf left it still runs great at least. It almost seems like these things will last forever.
I hope this stuff goes to someone who could really use it.

There was a box on the table when I got home last night. Better packed than most ebay purchases. Thanks Jack! I'll try to pay it forward sooner or later.
