Truck is looking good now that it's all one color. Gloss black or dark metallic blue would be real nice.

Thanks guys. So, with the fresh epoxy on it I decided to go mudding. Lol took the truck out to a party today and had to park in what amounts to a swamp. It was fun, tested out the 4wd. Works great!

Looking good Altec.  You have a mirror for the passenger side.(I would be shocked if you didn't lolx)  That would drive me nuts as I always use my mirrors.

Maryland law says I need two. So, I'm good. Lol. But to answer your question I have another one of the Silverado mirrors to match the driverside. Just have to drill holes and install nutserts for it.

Switching gears (Pun intended), I'm starting to work on my open deck car trailer. I ordered tires, and today I reclaimed it from the woods line, and swept all the tree carcass off in the middle of the driveway. After that I backed it into the shop and decided that it is too damn hot.  lolx This weekend I'm going to yank the drums and repack the bearings. Come Monday I will take the wheels to work and swap the new tires on and I'll be out of things to do until I can order the lights and break away box next weekend.

No pictures, but you can imagine a rusty open deck trailer.  lolx I'll get some pictures and some play-by-play when I start pulling the bearings apart, and fish wire. I enjoy trailer wiring. Its very relaxing.

Oh, triple post!

I also fiddled with the cobbrater the other day. Just swapping the discharge nozzles. I was having a little bit of a bog on throttle snap, and from coasting in gear to "whacking" the throttle. Ok, it was bad. I don't have a bunch of a nozzles laying around, but I had a set of 31's to replace the tiny 28's that were in it. It's 95% there now, but I'm going to order a set of 33's and 35's to play with next. If you aren't familiar with these sharpened sticks, it basically shoots fuel down the throat of the carb when you open the butterflys to make up for the moment before the main jets kick in.

Little things!

I switched the steering wheel first thing after work. After market wheels don't do it for me! I've been thinking for weeks "man, a later model "H" wheel would be perfect, I wish I had one." Wait a minut, I do!  lolx A parts S10 I have had one. Had. Simple swap, and much better! The feel is better, and the diameter is a little bigger then the aftermarket wheel which puts your arms at a better angle, and stops the wheel from obstructing the view of the gauges.  th-smile

Me too!

Pulled the wheels on the trailer after work. Cheated and just pulled the hub nuts. I'm taking the whole assemblies to work with me. There I will change the tires and repack the bearings. I need to go to the trailer parts store and pick up spring kits, and new hub seals.

I also got a NOS 1/2 Proto ratchet waiting for me when I got home!

Fiddling with the exhaust because EVERYTHING ELSE is done.  lolx

Oh well. It's a couple 45* mandrel bends, couple 90* mandrel bends and a two to one collector from Flowmaster into a 4" MBRP muffler. I don't have a chop saw, so marking a straight line is key for me to make a straight cut with my sawzall. A roll of 3M makes a handy tool for it. Its a snug fit. For smaller stuff, a hose clamp does the same thing. With the "true duals" it had a anemic 305 sound, but louder. This new setup has a aggressive, but not ear bleeding noise that compliments the lope in the cam. I took the truck out for a errand after work and had a kid in a slammed Jetta rev at me.  Bslap

I still need to make a proper hanger setup, and a tail pipe for it. It'll be a more "stock" single pipe out at the factory location. I did custom exhaust for a while. Everyone wants duals, I can't stand them.  lolx I think they sound like crap, and make a clean truck look cheap. But you follow the money.
