I run a support shop for the University, so I got an big educational discount on them, but the bill was still around $20k. I need to be able to weld just about anything at any time to support all the different people who use the shop service, so I picked pretty high end multi-process machines. I think they will last very well too. The equipment this replaced was made by companies long bought out, and all dated from the 1950s.
