Done that hidex
There is a very fine line between a hobby and a mental illness.

Does the need justify the want ? Or does the want suffice?

chicken wire, newspaper and body filler.  Did that to a 1958 Ford which was already rusted out in 1963.  In fact, it had no floor in the trunk so it could not be used.  Wife comes home one day and says "something is wrong with the gas pedal".  I take a look, floor rusted out and pedal is no longer there, wife was pushing on the lever from the firewall. :))

Nice work

I don't believe house handles has a direct replacement for proto body hammers. Thier eyes are a different size and shape. I guess i could use a larger handle and trim it and lose the balance but then again i could do bodywork with a claw hammer.
Is there any other tool for body work? I mean, other than duct tape.
Wood screws

And flattened beer cans.
you guy's forgot the most important. chicken wire and newspaper :groaner:

License plates. I think that's a Southern variation.  ;D

Old T-shirts, rags and saran wrap stuffed in along with the newspapers.  Add a few pounds of Bondo and voila!
