I have TWO of those adjustables and use one pretty regular.  I will buy more if I find them.  Even ones that the motor stopped working.

You did notice I failed to mention the growing Oxwall collection.....    Even I cannot make excuses for them actually finishing a job.

The century old Neverstall has a better chance of doing that.

Picking on shoe boy is just fishing in a barrel.  I bet he has shoes that are dedicated to walking away from the ribbing too.

I had to have a french drain in my rentals back yard, otherwise the whole yard next to the house would be a lake. But I had a dry well put at the end to keep everything in my property lines. Works great and the city doesn't have to know.

What about a gutter system to carry the runoff from the roof away before it gets on the ground and under the shed?

I think a gutter on that side will be my first course of action.  The soil around here doesn't absorb well, it's very squishy now and it's been a couple of days since it rained.

I definitely like how old oddball gimmicky tools can be discussed seriously.

Some of this stuff can be decent while others complete junk.

The screwball isn't bad, the easy driver is pretty good, Skewdriver seems decent, but the Durapro snake driver is complete junk, and the Durapro pocket pro is of acceptable quality but is just not very practical.
It seems we can look at this stuff which is widely considered gimmicky objectively without instantly calling it out as garbage, and that's a good thing because sometimes unconventional tools may be useful in some way.

I agree. We all have our preferences and opinions, but there is a more mature "Use what works for you" attitude here, and a lot less nonsense. Imagine my surprise when I joined the tool boards and learned that the raised panel wrenches and ratchets that I'd been using for over a decade were junk. I could of sworn they worked just fine, but who could argue with the collective wisdom that my wrenches couldn't grip a fastener, and my ratchets were unusable.  shrugx

Many of the experts seem to truely believe that Craftsman screwdrivers are the absolute worst on the market, and that the adjustable wrench is the worst invention in the history of tools. I've learned to love the ignore list feature over there, but don't use it here.

That said, they did have the good sense to ban Bruce, and why you like that battery powered crescent wrench is beyond me fishslap fishslap fishslap
