Looks good Tim. If those tires are old and leak a little air, don't be afraid to Slime them. I run Slime in 3 tires on my rider which are over 12 years old and never have to add air. I got tired of adding air every time I used it.

Those snappers are tough, simple machines. as long as they don't rust out they'll run forever.

My only complaint is they're too small. single blade is good for 36in or so. I'm running a 46in cut now and looking at 50+ on the next mower.
Started with nothing and still have most of it left.

The nice thing about the smaller ones like Mudman has is they can fit through a gate or man door. Heck, you could ride it through the front door and mow the living room carpet if you were drunk enough and your buddies dared you to.
I'm just a guy in a garage with some tools...

Same mower as my son uses.  They are tough and simple.  Not sure they cut well when turning on a slope, lower side drops, hence the hack look.  Parts are readily available, he found a belt and drive wheel in stock at a local dealer.  Plus the guy was helpful
That scalloped box end is one of the few BB features that doesn't make Elroy puke

Lawn Tractor for the 2 acres I have to mow every 5 days!

Agreed.   I had a neighbor that mowed for the local cemetary association.   He had a mower with 'little wheels'  and it just tore his back apart  riding the thing.    Chosing a mowing combination  with BIG wheels
will have a big impact on whether you can walk away from the mower and the end of the day.

I'll rig a carrier to the front so he can have front row seating.

Once you do that get a length of hose and a round primer ball. On one end of the hose attach a baby nipple with a hole in it. In the middle of the length of hose install the primer ball. On the other end you will need some sort of flexible flat round piece of rubber with a hole in the center where the hose attaches. Then get a tube of contact cement and.............. facepalm1

(Don't share this with the wife, women rarely have a sense of humor for stuff like this!  Bslap)
