Craftsman 3/8 drive flex socket 1/2"
« on: April 16, 2017, 07:06:23 AM »
Flex head socket dropped into the abyss yesterday while working on a pump. Have had the set since the mid 70s. Came off the extension and down it went, tried to retrieve with a magnet but I couldn't see it and I was working blind. Finally gave up. Its a 6pt and would like a to find one. I found a 12pt on Ebay and some one had a beat one for 30 bucks WTF. Anyone got one laying around they would part with?

I think you lucked out losing the 6 point. I think you will find a 6pt replacement a lot easier than you would ever find a Craftsman 12pt. I cannot help you out. If I could I would though I share your pain.
You boys better hold on cause i'm gonna have to stand on it!

NEED A 1/2" BONNEY STREAMLINE COMBINATION AND ANY OVER 13/16" TOO!

Any chance of still fishing out the one you dropped? What did you drop it in?

Piping sump under a gas dispenser.  Several inches of water, murky, can't get my head in there to see.  I gave up
