Todays $10.00 box at garage sale
« on: August 12, 2017, 12:01:53 PM »
Sale listed tools, there were lots of them, mostly China.  However saw one plastic tote with mostly USA tools, asked how much, $10.00.  It is all 1/2 inch drive and mostly Craftsman, but the largest sockets are MAC, Proto and the 1 1/2" is S-K.  The long extensions are MAC and Fleet.  This shows only the USA, already gave away the China.

I've had that 1/2" drive speeder handle for decades -- it's a keeper. I still prefer it over any other brand speeder that I own.

GF,

I have the same speed handle and it is a nice tool.  I probably only use mine a few times a year, but I always enjoy it.  And, when not in use, mine hangs on a pegboard where I can see it from anywhere in the garage.

Good job!
This car is a pile of crap. Noisy, rattly, slow and underpowered and has a reputation for being unreliable. I want one.

Pop bought me that speeder as part of my original set of 1/2" drive Craftsman stuff I got around 1977 or 78. I still have all of the pieces he bought me that birthday. That was where my 1/2" drive stuff started.
You boys better hold on cause i'm gonna have to stand on it!

NEED A 1/2" BONNEY STREAMLINE COMBINATION AND ANY OVER 13/16" TOO!

I like looking at it too -- it's right in the top of my box.

Pretty good for $10!
I'm pretty sure I also had that speeder at one time. I think it was in the tool box that got stolen. About the only time I use speeders these days is for plugs on small engines.
I'm just a guy in a garage with some tools...

That scalloped box end is one of the few BB features that doesn't make Elroy puke
