Bull;  Since you have the services of a capable master plumber, then I would suggest you build a "Franzinator". Yes, some people have issues with Franz, but his design is truly very efficient, and it will reduce your moisture problems without hanging a massive array of pipe.

Just follow the links and you will find a complete description along with a simple drawing of the design.

Warning to noobs - before building one, consider your welding skills first!

I thought about one until Franz cautioned against less skilled welders taking this on.  I'll heed his warnings every time.

Franz also designed a "non-welded" version that can be assembled with commonly available fittings from the hardware store

Couple thoughts. First it would probably work better with a hex nipple in the elbow to direct the airflow straight down. Second using tube instead of pipe for the inlet would allow the use of either a compression or soldered fitting instead of JB Weld.

Do we have to call it the Franzanator?  frustratedx

How about Pneumatic Condensing Water Vapor Reducer? The original's namesake isnt exactly a member in good standing.

Thanks to member mdlbldrmatt135, we have a great professional drawing of how to make a threaded inlet valve for a Franzinator condenser in case you want to build the non-welded version.

Ya it should be called the Fanzinator, the guy was a real ass hat but you have to give him his due, he did have some quality know to contribute. Just a damned shame he was such a ring muscle sharing the knowledge or he would still be here I am sure.

So in spite of his being gone and a real true ring muscle you have to give the man credit for the idea he shared here.  thumbsup2

Lol, never knew these had a name. Devices like these are common practice around these parts due to humidity. I've seen poorly laid out systems act more like a garden hose in the summer months.

Actually, the "Franzanator" really an extension on a desiccant dryer or filter , minus the desiccant/filter. There is nothing unique there.  He may try to claim it and stick all kinds of bullshit "copyrights" on it, but its nothing that hasnt been done before. He just plastered it all over the internet and called it his.

Case in point:
