Just under 18 square feet of surface area in there holding just under 200 old wrenches and two socket sets.   Not bad considering the glass I found cheap chose the size.

Next up a screwdriver rack display with lighting for the cabinet in the base.   Simpler than inside tha cabinet and no bulbs to be seen.    I need more wood.

Well that was certainly a bright idea.

Well done it looks great.

Frugality LED the way again with rampant recycling.   A brilliant result on three levels actually that really works.

This just needs one more part to done.

It is in the bedroom.   The only room in the house with good security.  We sent a play table down to the first floor to make room.

I have to get some lights in there.

Ou that might be even more of a win. I can't wait to put of my ETF wrench board in the dinning room when I get a house lol

Good job on the lighting thumbsup2

Some Ford wrenches, some DB and Pierce Arrow, some BB convex and whatnot.  Sunlight plus flash works here.

A NB branded CM,  late 1930's
Blackhawk pressed steel about the same age
Two SK springless, 1940's
SO Milwaukee flipper,  1927
G code sliding breaker by SO and 1960 ratchet adapter.

All halfer drive and working correctly.

1937. CM BE 16 pc quarter drive socket set mostly correct, same in 11 pc set visually correct and short a drive tool.

No rush to complete the CM sets.

If its not obvious I might like DOE wrenches most.  The rest is just the trimmings.

That is a cool effect.  Eyes can focus on each level but the camera fixed on the top glass.

Guys across forum street see this they will be dumping the Epiq boxes and filling the walls with client impressing SO glass cases with silk liners.  After all well polished perfectly matched sets always means the best tech in the shop.

And now a screwdriver rack.  Some old Campos Hermanos Taking the place of honor.

Retirement benefits after more than half a century of hard use and abuse.

Looks great Brian!

Are these just antique or is the the RR collection you were talking about?

The known and suspects to be train related all set top shelf right side,  the spikes and heavy iron will be a seperate display later on.   I have a pile of unmarked and unremarkable old wrenches to toss in the NdeM box that the kids can futz with AWAY from the glass.

Manny has permission to touch and play with some of this crap because its just stuff, one day his stuff.   He has to learn to appreciate it now.

Then he won't just scrap it all later on.
