Vintage Craftsman Table Saw and Planer
« on: July 30, 2017, 09:35:40 PM »
Found this on the local CL this morning. Right place right time.  Not free but almost.   th-bounce thumbsup2

I'm going to have to do something about this wheel setup, one of them already is giving me problems.  But those are first world problems.    lolx
This car is a pile of crap. Noisy, rattly, slow and underpowered and has a reputation for being unreliable. I want one.

Very interesting find -- looks like it was in the 1956 catalog for a premium price. $194.00 in 1956 was quite the sum.

Well done!

That's a nice setup. thumbsup2 I snagged a stand alone jointer from my late FIL. it takes up a lot of real estate in the shop.

I like my woodworking tools on rollers. roll it out under the carport to make the mess. blow it off and roll it back in. keeps the mess outdoors.
Started with nothing and still have most of it left.

Very cool, thanks for posting that Ray.  The guy I got it from said his wife's grandfather used it to build a house years ago.  This is a beautiful piece of machinery.
