My metric “Saltus” wrenches
« on: February 01, 2012, 06:45:35 AM »
They are truecraft JAPAN but good wrenches, after losing auctions on SK metrics I decided to bid on these. The set is both metric and SAE but since I have the MAC Saltus the SAE will go in my sons box.
The package arrived with a hole and postal tape with one wrench missing so I am waiting on a replacement. But the guy has a few sets up for auction.

ff,

Don't you just hate these guys who don't know how to package tools for shipping?  They create so many problems for themselves, their customers, and the postal carriers.

I like TrueCraft also. I have a few pieces, and like them all, both USA and Japan. I have a couplel of ratchets that I like and the re-sellers usually consider them junk around here. Better for me.

I had a set of Metric Truecraft Saltus years ago, some  smokbro stole my toolbox and away they went. Unknown if mine were USA or Japan but they were of good quality.  Bought a set of fractional Craftsman Saltus from Cripe on closeout last year, they are ok but not as nice as SK or Truecraft.
