very freaking nice mate.

What kind of person would throw these away?  I mean these might not be worth millions but not only are these useful, but exceptionally cool as well.

Fins:  Before that Thorsen board is sold, as there is probably no way I could afford, this, could you please, if you have time, take a close out of that Thorsen board please?  I've never seen a Thorsen board before and that easily is the one tool board is slightly more interesting than that Petersen Vise Grip peg board.

Fins:  This would be in early November if I did this and I could trade you some items in addition as well.  I am definitely interested, but I am not sure if I can afford this though.

Thank you though.

Dave I guess I started a couple of years ago, pretty much everything is from eBay. Unless something is unusual you can generally find it quickly. The only board that doesn't have a lot of the correct brand is the Indestro punch/chisel board. Probably about 25% is correct and the rest is close but from another manufacturer. A lot of those are Wilde tools. The Duro wrench board is also a mix of Duro and Indestro and not all correct. I've got the corner on 3/4" x 25/32" deep offset DBE wrenches I've got 3 on the 3/4"x 7/8" peg with two of the correct size.

NASA called today.

Seems they have had to adjust their satellitic pyro-metric gyro-spectrometer plasma gas-metronome guidance system for the change in the earths polymorphic rotational pull. Seems there is a buildup of excess iron in your zip code. The GPS signals they produce are being affected by someones tool collection.

Niiiiiiiiice!!

Heh, although I would use this to hang my Thorsen wrenches I was also thinking this would be amazing wall art as well.  Personally, if I had a person come into where I lived and say this wasn't, I would disagree with them.

As frankly wall art of trees, bikes and other items might be wall art to some, but Thorsen and other tool boards are wall art to others as well.

Well I added another. I wanted a Wright metric combo wrench board, I bit the bullet and bought a new one from HKE, not as bad as you would think and $40 cheaper than the SAE board???? Anyway I had a 7 mm - 24mm set to mostly fiil it and here she is.  The 32 mm is currently a Blackhawk but I was albe to get the 5 largest ones on eBay NOS at a resonable cost so they along with the 6 mm are on the way. The big ones are 25,26,27,30 and 32. I'll add a photo when its filled

That's what I was thinking too.  The NAPA auto parts store in the town I grew up in had New Britain, Indestro, and Blackhawk tool boards from floor to ceiling behind the the counter.  It was awesome... especially for a kid who had very few tools.

Cool! I looked at this thread, now that you did get that one Thorsen that peeked my interest. Your Duro is cool too, I scanned this ad out of a late 30-early 50's Automobile digest (don't remember which one) Has been on my wish list, but figured it would be easier to win the lottery probably cheaper!

Here are two more to me the holy grail's of tool boards. A puller board(at one time Duro had 4) This one is a good mix. T he various pullers are Duro or Indestro while the slide hammer and accessories were a Silver Slapper set. Not sure of the COO the seller said US but only a few of the tools are marked US. They all seem to be quality. One neat thing about the puller legs is that they can be used inside or outside due to the clever design. The other is a body tool board only two of the hammers and two of the dollies are Indestro. The rest of the tools are a mix with many hammers being Matco. They are close to what should be in that spot. I'm still missing a smaller slide hammer with a different style slide and some misc. parts. IMO these are  8)

Awesome job, Eric!  I'm envious of that Thorsen board with obstruction wrenches.  Does it have a model lower right?

twertsy,

Where do angle wrenches go on your Proto boards?  Is there another board for angle wrenches? I would have thought they would go directly below your ignition wrenches... where the DOE's are.

Hey Todd, I'll check my stash when I get home I know that I have 1 Proto  adjustable wrench. If it's one that you need then it's yours.

The one on the left seems that way but the Utica box seems to have a fold up front as a display case
