Junk Craftsman tool box but cheap
« on: July 24, 2017, 02:11:53 PM »
Picked up this roll around tool box Saturday at a garage sale, was after 1:00 PM so prices were reduced 50%, paid $35.00.  Will be used for storage of less used tools and I will not put too much weight in the drawers.

Yep $35 was a decent pickup

I'd have paid $35 for that. Cheap storage is always good.
I'm just a guy in a garage with some tools...

Good haul! I can't remember -- does the top box lock also lock the drawers, or only the lid? With all that empty space in the middle it might be a good place to have a dedicated battery charging section.

Wish they made a decent hollow-hutch like that in full-width.  I'd use it as a place to stick the used-but-not-cleaned tools prior to cleaning and putting them away properly instead of leaving the scattered randomly throughout the shop.

The top lock only locks the top, but with the rods in everything is locked.
