Nice box but looks like it needs a lot of TLC. Still, Cornwell boxes are something I rarely see

This car is a pile of crap. Noisy, rattly, slow and underpowered and has a reputation for being unreliable. I want one.

I think almost all traditional top boxes by most brands then, and now have always come with a tray in the top. Sort of a standard thing.

Yes, I remember the days before toolcarts became the norm. Many mechanics would just fill up the tray with tools they thought were needed for the job and walk it over to the car. Rarely did stacked boxes get moved about the shop. The tool tray was the mobile solution in the day.
